Department of obstetris and Gynecology, KMC Manipal 576104, India.
A G2P1 presented to our department at 24th week of pregnancy for a routine ultrasound examination. Our investigation revealed bilateral hydronephrosis, urinary ascites, oligohydramnios, fetal bradycardia, cardiomegaly, absent stomach bubble. The fetus died and the autopsy confirmed bilateral hydronephrosis, thickened trabeculated urinary bladder and posterior urethral valves. Here are some videos and and images we obtained.
Videos 1 and 2: 2D ultrasonography shoving fetal urinary ascites and dilated urinary bladder (video 1); and compressed fetal chest with relative cardiomegaly due to anhydramnios (video 2).
