This is a 38-year-old woman with unremarkable history scanned at 36th week of gestational age. The ultrasound investigation revealed enlarged right ureter and pyelectasis. These findings were consistent with right ureterovesical obstruction. Here are some of the images we obtained.

Images 1, 2. Pyelectasia of the right kidney (left); and comparison of the left (normal) and right pyelectatic kidney.

Images 3, 4. The right ureter and pelvis dilation.
