Gastroschisis

Fabrice Cuillier, MD

Department of Gynecology, FĂ©lix Guyon'Hospital, Ile de la RĂ©union, France.

This is a 25-year-old woman, G2P1. The nuchal translucency was 1 mm at 12 weeks and the triple test was normal. At 15 weeks, the patient came in our unit because she had a vaginal bleeding. A gastroschisis was diagnosed. There was no other anomaly. An amniocentesis was performed (46 XX). The patient delivered at 16 weeks (after intrauterine death).
