This is a case of a 25-year-old primigravida. The first scan was performed at 10 weeks, and the gestational age was compatible with the last menstrual period. At 13 weeks, a scan revealed an abnormal nuchal translucency, a septated cystic hygroma. No pleural effusion or ascites were present. There was a subcutaneus edema. At 13 weeks and three days, we could observe an increased of the edema and the hygroma was still present. At 14 weeks, an amniocentesis was performed (45 X0, Karyotype). The couple decided to perform an interruption of pregnancy.
